Nutrition Counseling for Individuals and Corporations
It seems each day brings a different headline, a new super food, magic calorie burner, or another food that causes cancer. Wading through the ever changing information can be daunting, not to mention confusing! I will teach the basics, tell the truth, and educate on how to read food labels and ingredient lists. I will also identify the marketing tricks manufacturers use to make their products appear healthy.
After learning the basics of what our bodies need, we will navigate through your own particular dietary concerns. I will show you simple ways to incorporate healthy alternatives throughout your day, and how to boost nutrition with simple substitutions. Together we will explore options that are realistic for you and your family to achieve long-term lifestyle changes. I do not prescribe diets, but rather show you that eating healthy isn’t as difficult as we make it out to be.
What I do for private clients can be brought to your work place. Employees can have the opportunity for one-on-one time with me to assess and express their dietary concerns. Three to five hour blocks of time are broken into 30 minute sessions per person. This can be set up for weekly, monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually meetings.
